“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:6. The resurrection is the foundation of the Christian faith. Without it, we are to be “pitied more than all men.” The resurrection catalyzed the launch of Jesus’ church-a group whose purpose it was to bear the good news that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, so that we might live again with him in heaven. In this series, we’re exploring the first few crucial days after Jesus rose from the dead, as he comforted, instructed, commissioned and ignited the disciples to change the world upside down for him.
